For seasoned athletes, The Heysen Trail is a jaunty 1200 km stroll that will take between 50-60 days, but for beginners there is the Waterfall Gully Climb that only takes a few hours and provides plenty of rock chairs along the way for you to sink into. The Heysen Trail is closed during the summer fire ban but open for intrepid explores throughout winter, spring and autumn. The Friends of the Heysen Trail even provide group walks so that you can burn off calories in good company.
