For a great day out filled with activities and excitement, why not head to the 2012 Golden Mount Festival?

For three days, there will be plenty to see and do on the day, including amusement rides, a street parade, a classic auto's display, stage entertainment, market stalls, and much more. Three classic activities will be happening on the day – the Dig 4 Gold competition, the Festival Rodeo and the Running of the Cutter; check out the website for more information about these and how you can get involved. There will also be some old school competition favourites, including at tug of war, egg and spoon races, a pie eating competition, and more. To end the day's festivities there will be special fireworks celebration.



This event will be highlighted by the celebration of Mount Morgan and the Mount Morgan community; and you are invited to attend.
