Are you a fan of dumplings? I wasn't until quite recently when I visited the Hilltop Chinese Restaurant. My partner and I were lucky enough to fall upon a Scoopon for $29 which included all you eat dumplings for two. Not my usual dinner, but I'm always on the lookout for something new and exciting, especially a new place to dine.

When we arrived we were greeted by a friendly waiter who served Chinese tea and provided us with a specialised Scoopon menu with a list of dishes that were available. I was pleasantly surprised to see quite a variety of dumpling dishes. Everything ranging from Leek & Chicken dumplings, to BBQ Pork Buns, Dim Sims, Spring Rolls to Custard Dumplings for desert.

After having tried a variety of different dumplings, I found the Chicken and Corn dumplings and the BBQ Pork Buns to be my favourite. We ate so much. The dumplings were great and being $29 for two people we couldn't help ourselves but eat plenty. This would have to be one of the best value for money experiences I've encountered.

The restaurant was clean and tidy, we visited on a weeknight and quite early for dinner as well, so it was quiet and no worries about lines or the worry of a table being available.

The food was tasty and combined with the friendly service we received I will definitely be heading back there soon.
