Here's your opportunity to meet Joel Magarey, a prolific writer of newspaper and journal articles who has written an unique travel memoir. His narrative, Exposure: A Journey, is a gripping, exciting, frightening and entertaining read, with the occasional humorous moments that will have you asking what you would do in the same circumstances.
While on his around the world odyssey, Joel had to deal with leaving Penny, the love of his life, while he travelled at times with or without her at various times in the 80's and 90' as he struggled to manage his obsessive compulsive disorder. Whether he was kayacking in Alaska, encountering poverty in India, reunions in Russia, living with an indigenous tribe in Papua New Guinea, Magarey who is a curious and creative being by nature is constantly having to make decisions between travelling alone and dealing with his fears, doubts and compulsions or to travel with Penny and share with her some magical and beautiful moments.
