Show tickets are on sale now for the much-loved, family classic Mary Poppins. Arriving to Perth in March 2012 at the Burswood Theatre, this cherished timeless Disney film, from the book written by Australian born P.L.Travers, will enthral everyone wanting to get in touch with their youth.

Running for around 2hrs 45mins with a 20min interlude, you'll be mesmerised by the dazzling colour, lights, sounds, movement and the whole ambience that is a theatre performance.

Cameron Mackintosh, together with Disney, has brought to life the retelling of this wonderful story with a colourful cast and crew. The magic of Cherry Tree Lane in this show is sure to be memorable, with newly written songs and a focus on combining the book and film into one piece that captures it all.

From paper to picture, Mary Poppins and the characters delighted the screen for the first time in film back in 1964. Can you believe the first Mary Poppins book was published in 1934? It has certainly held on, ageless throughout the years.

Cameron Mackintosh and the creators of this version of Mary Poppins, coming to Australia in Perth, Sydney and Brisbane, were trusted with the making of this stage show musical after much deliberation with Pamela Travers. Not to be taken lightly, there has been a lot of work go into the resulting performance, which will most definitely deliver its best.

Performances in Perth are set from 1st April to 13th May, 2012 for the following days and times:

Sun 1pm & 6.30pm
Fri 1pm (April 13th & 20th are interchanged with Special Holiday Matinees)

I have never seen a stage show quite like this and am eager to get the whole family into seats fully absorbed. It's completely worthwhile; now just to afford the tickets.
