Hot on the heels of the successful launch of their Racecourse Road Lifestyle Markets in Hamilton, Ruffled Bazaar have organised a tantalising twilight festival to be held on Saturday, May 12, 2012; from 3pm until 8pm at the Mt Gravatt Showgrounds.
Kellie and Jess (Ruffled Bazaar) decided to change their Mt Gravatt twilight markets into twilight festivals. By definition, a festival is a time of celebration – so the transformation makes complete sense.
More than a market, the Ruffled Bazaar Mother's Day Festival is a celebration of mothers and motherhood.
Mums will be pampered with an onsite day spa and VIP high tea area, or they can join a cupcake decorating class with Jamosie Sweet. While mum is being indulged, kids can create a Mother's Day card at the craft and card making station.
Mothers aren't the only ones being spoilt. As well as pony rides and family friendly rides at the Side Show Lane, there will be heaps of free children's activities: baby animal farm, face painting, roving entertainers, and a soccer coaching clinic. Pineapple Palace will take Centre Stage to entertain the crowd with their "bio-dynamic, live, organic arts and cultural experience."
No need to make dinner on Saturday night with a selection of gourmet food stalls to choose from including New York hot dogs, wood-fired pizzas, delicious dumplings, divine doughnuts, homemade baked goods, and yummy ice cream.
Buy your mother a special gift from one of the boutique market stalls located inside: fashion, footwear, jewellery, home wares, organic tea, handmade soaps and lip balms, bath salts, soy wax candles, and hand bound journals and gorgeous gift tags made from reclaimed vintage books.
