Speers Point Park boasts the newest and biggest children's playground in the region. It is situated at the north western corner of Lake Macquarie and there is certainly nothing else like it in the area. The newly constructed playground boasts a 4 story slide, flying foxes, pirate ships, a wet play area, sculptures, rickety bridges just to name a few things.

Hi Slide
The soon to open café has almost finished construction and will be capable of seating eighty people. Until then the mobile coffee van is there every weekend to keep the refreshments flowing and Mr Wippey is a frequent flyer as well.
Apart from the massive kid's play complex there is also a large grassed acreage that is peppered with Norfolk Pines and Maple trees. There are two large under- cover entertainment areas and many covered tables and barbecues perfect for parties, picnics or even weddings. To book the park for functions visit
Lake Macquarie Council
The Lake Macquarie cycle way runs through the park and is a popular starting point for cyclists and walkers making the trek to Warners Bay. The park is also home to the Speers Point Sailing club and has its own jetty if you prefer to go for a sail or jet-ski to the park.
And of course being on the lake who could resist going for a dip in the summertime. The jetty is also a popular spot for swimmers and fishes but if the open water is not your thing, you can always walk across the car park to the
Speers Point Swim Center.
The Park is also host to great Australia Day celebrations. There is so much to do at this park that there would have to be something for everyone.
